They're listening, and even experimented in releasing a batch of double bass songs a while back, which sold very well. The problem is that they can only do five songs a week, and they'd rather use that space for five different songs.

Did you possibly mean "Estranger"? If so, it came out to PS3 in January 2012.
I just want it, whenever it's released (though I did think it did get released a few weeks back). I am very greatful for getting "estranger" early this year.

Ok, so here's a little update for my list.

Defenetly thanks about Anarchy Club's Collide, great guitar track tied with old GH nostalgia.

I'd like to say thanks for the I, Omega song as well. The closest we'll ever get to Protest The Hero, so defenetly cool. Sounds and looks amazing.

    On my Top 5:
    Josh Blackburn - I'm Dirt
    Within The Ruins - Controller
    Nevermore - The Obsidian Conspiracy
    Spires - The Infinite Descent
    Wolfcrusher - Skeletonizer

    No changes here.

    Honorable Mentions

    Kylesa - Tired Climb
    Edenshade - Another Purity Falling
    Ultra Saturday - Little Sister
    The Irresponsible - Pretty Boy
    Halcyon Way (everything/anything)
    Devin Townsend (everything/anything))
Daas Bosh - Eternal Divine Angel Death (RB3 version)
    Dirge Within - Absolution
    Ghost Brigade - Clawmaster
Ghost Brigade - Into the Black Light
Joan Of Arc - Say Sayonara (any version)

    HM new (old) entries:

Conflicted - Victor (ia) (I almost forgot about this one. I used to request it every week!)

The Burial - Pearls; The Frailty Of Matters (a great guitar track with multiple solos and a lot of variety, and an almost impossible drum track filled with fast blast beats)

PLEASE MORE 2x Bass Pedal, my favorites bands are "Metal" just like "Attack Attack!", "Asking Alexandria" etc.
It would be great to keep enjoying my favorite game with my favorite songs with a little more challenge, and along with my other PSN drummer friends, I beg for this request to be considered and listened to.
    Thank you.
Hi! Glad you're enjoying the game; sorry you're disappointed in the variety. However, if you list some specific songs that were released on Xbox that you'd like to see on PS3, we're certainly listening.

There was a period of time when we routinely ported 4 and 5 metal songs a week to PS3. Due to the intense objection from the PS3 audience, we cut back to a standard 1/week with occasional exceptions.

The reason why we only release 5 RBN songs each week on PS3 when we release so many more songs on Xbox is that the RBN is founded on Microsoft's technology. When an RBN song is approved through the Xbox peer review system, it's free and clear to enter the store. By contrast, releasing an RBN song on PS3 requires significant development, production, and QA support from both Harmonix and Sony. It's a much more time-intensive proposal, and RBN songs have a limited market compared to Harmonix-authored DLC. As a result, we choose our songs carefully and try to pick songs that will find a solid audience on PS3.

As far as the 2x bass pedal songs go - based on our prior experiment, we don't perceive that the demand for 2x bass pedal on PS3 is strong enough to justify swapping out a "new song" for a 2x bass pedal version of an old song. If we had the resources and opportunity to release more songs on a routine basis, it would be another matter entirely, but under these circumstances, we don't feel it's the best way to serve our PS3 audience.

    Thanks!
