Vangough and Stagehands plz! I'll keep whining until I get those dammit! It seemed to work for Free Spirit and now they're getting songs by the buttload. More prog in general is never a bad thing either.

Also, not to be even more of an ass but I really don't understand why you guys wasted a perfectly good slot on a RB3 version of a song that hardly anyone plays for the vocals and that isn't impressive in the least for keys. We already had the RBN1.0 variant which was picked up mostly for guitar and drums anyway.

It's fairly rare for anyone to think that all 5 PS3 slots are put to good use. With that said, I see why you'd ask about this track specifically.

A variety of factors power the decision to bring a song to PS3. One of those factors is sales. The sales on the RB3 version on Xbox were high enough that we thought we should offer our PS3 audience this version as well.

If this was a mistake, we'll learn from it; we are listening, after all. And if not, then we've made some PS3 players happy.

Either way, next week's songs will be different, and I hope you enjoy them more!

    Hey Harmonix and ThatAuthoringGroup,
I am really happy that you guys are bringing so much metal, particularly prog and death to the RBN. Thanks very much for all your efforts.

I bought Rock Band when it first came out many years ago now and still play it weekly if not more frequently. I still love the game regardless of the waning interest by the public. I have a library of over 1200 songs from all of the discs, exports, and DLC I could get my hands on. I continue to buy every week. I own every release of the Rock Band franchise... including all track packs.

I have one tiny problem though. Even though I own both consoles, I made my Rock Band investment on the PS3... which is now valued at probably a few thousand dollars which is obviously preventative for me to make the switch to Xbox (although looking back, clearly I chose poorly.)

Is there any way you guys can help promote your particular offerings to the PSN and not just the Xbox? I keep up with the new releases every week and of course every week I am let down by what doesn't make it over to the PS3. I understand about the 30 day exclusivity that Xbox has on RBN releases, but why do so many songs never make it to PSN? It seems like lost revenue if all it needs to do is be submitted to PSN since the work is already done.

Let me finish by saying when I saw SOLUTION .45 particularly, I was ridiculously excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it and yet Wikipedia's listings for those two songs show no PSN release in sight.

Please tell me that those songs as well as many of your other offerings will make it over there for me to purchase? If there is something I can do to help them make the jump over, then please let me know.

    Thanks very much!
    I really appreciate it.

Here's a video I did to promote Rock Band.
