The PS3 RBN 2.0 Songs Request Thread

Turns out there aren't too many Buckner & Garcia fans on the ps3, according to the charts I looked at. Bummer. Oh well, I guess it makes sense that they won't port the songs if they won't sell (even if I really wish I could play them). Sucks to be a ps3 owner right now..

This calls for me and you to dress funky and stand outside the HArmonix HQ with signs saying "Buckner and Garcia for PS3, or give us death!" lol

You know, I KIND OF like them. I'm an old school gamer, and those songs certainly strike a bit of a nostalgic nerve for me. The problem is, I don't find them to actually be very fun on any instrument. I don't base my approval for songs only by difficulty, but I do find these songs to be particularly dull. If it makes you feel any better, I have bought each and every one of them to come out. I don't hate them, I just don't particularly like them. I certainly don't mean to put them down, I just thought I'd share how I feel, and how I suspect the core PS3 audience may feel about them as well.

But lists of twenty-plus songs do get a bit overwhelming. Limited lists (top five? top ten?) make it easier for me to say at appropriate times, "Oh yeah, I've heard about a zillion requests lately for Cheesy Pop Song".

I understand that, totally. The thing is, I get enjoyment out of playing a song regardless of how difficult it is on the instruments. I imagine some people may feel that way, or not... I love playing "Ride A White Swan" by T.Rex on expert drums but it's extremely easy. I'm honestly surprised more people don't want this album. If many people don't enjoy the songs, however, then I imagine it wouldn't be a good idea to put them in the store.
