OK, these dreams just happened to me, and I need to vent...

OK, I've just got up from 14 hours of sleep, and I want to discuss some strange dreams I had...

The first one was about Rock Band 4.


The last time I had a dream like this, it was me playing "Up Around the Bend" on GH:WT. After a few days, the song was announced.

So I was playing what looked like Rock Band 3 at a friend's house, but it was a little different, and none of the songs were the same, so I'm guessing Rock Band 4. We were scrolling through the setlist. All I remember was the Devil-Tier. What I remember, in order of difficulty, from these songs were:

The Black Dahlia Murder - Necropolis
Meatloaf - Bat Outta Hell
Deep Purple - Burn
Lamb of God - Walk With Me In Hell
Rhapsody of Fire - Dawn of Victory
DragonForce - Heroes of Our Time
Metallica - (Don't remember, but it was from "...And Justice For All.")
Song #1 I don't know
Song #2 I don't know
Iron Maiden - (Don't Remember, but I think it was from the Brave New World album.)
Metallica - One

We were discussing why there were two Metallica songs for a while. We came to the conclusion it was to apologize for Enter Sandman and Battery not exporting.

And the last one was quite weird. This was when I realized this had to be a dream. I looked at the very bottom of the tier, the hardest song in the game. At first it didn't sound at all familiar. Then I remembered what it was. It was my song, currently titled Project Unknown, but with vocals. I just stared at the title, artist, and album art.

However, the album art was just a Rock Band logo. Huh...

Next thing I know, I'm on the road, with a family I don't know anything about, and we're going to some sort of supermarket. After what had to have been the most boring shopping ever, the family is getting packed. But then they left without me and two other kids. Then the father came back and picked up the other two, leaving me there. I look down to notice I'm a child, about maybe 2 years of age. I start crying, bringing attention to a store manager. He says he wants to help me out, so, even to my surprise, I say, "OK, I'll point out my family when I see them. Why don't you give them a call?" in an adult voice.

Of coarse, he doesn't listen and starts taking me to the first family he sees, and I could tell, for some reason, the two parents were actually kidnappers. I started explaining:

"Sir, that is not my family. I don't want to go with them. Those aren't even their kids."

To which, the manager says:

"I don't care, they're a big group so you're going with them."

Last thing I remember, I'm in their car being driven away.

Next thing, I'm my normal self again, and I'm with my brother, who is supposed to be in California for two years, and a friend of mine. We're at some sort of indoor carnival, complete with roller coasters and concerts. We're having the greatest time ever, enjoying rides, food and music.

And then, suddenly it's time to go home, and we have to walk out of the building. Problem is, this happens to be the longest building ever. We were walking for hours. Along the way, my brother, who has said he is against metal, is jamming to a death metal song on his Ipod. Huh...

And finally, we were near the exit. And I noticed something strange: we were in my school now. I don't remember exiting, because I woke up.

So I just wanted to get those out.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. I remember having a dream about Rock Band 4, and Cars by Gary Numan was on it. And I was so psyched.

I had a dream recently where I was visiting my "cousin", Samara (from The Ring.)

She looked normal but didn't talk at all. I've noticed with a lot my dreams, the characters are usually mute, and in this case, that only made things worse. Anyways, i go to take a shower and I can just... feel the stare from someone. That's all I can remember.

I probably had that dream stem from when I commented on A Perfect Circle - The Hollow (Live on Letterman) saying that when Paz's hair covered her face, I thought Samara was rocking with APC.

I can't seem to remember my dreams.

Fall asleep, wake up, fall asleep again, wake up after about 10-15 minutes and you'll remember your dream.

If you're a restless sleeper (like me), this happens naturally and I remember my dreams often when I wake up, but if you sleep through the night, it's much harder to remember your dreams in the morning.

And as a side note, I like Rock Band too, but I've never actually dreamed about it, lol. I've had some crazy dreams, but I vaguely remember them. Mostly what they were about and that's it, I can't remember any of the finer details since you tend to forget them minutes after your dream.

I usually dream about what's on my mind. And last night trying to improve the charts on my RBN songs was on my mind.

One time I was wondering why My Little Pony was so damned popular, and I had a dream where the show had placed itself in the real world...

Oh, and one time, I was thinking about Disney movies, and I had a dream where every time we tried to watch Snow White, the room caught flames, and Satan himself came out of our TV...

Yeah, my subconscious is pretty messed up.

The one dream I can Remember was me playing Rock Band 4 in a white room with 4 Silhouettes/Shadows on Bass, Guitar, Vocals, and Keys. As I was playing the walls turned black and turned into a kind of music visualizer. Eventually the walls burst into flames then I played Beezelboss, and when the song finished, the walls fell down to reveal an apocalypse happening. Then all of a sudden an earthquake happened and a massive phoenix rose from the ashes of my ruined town.

Then I woke up.


Pretty creepy dream in the end.
