few questions about RBs charting realism

So you're saying Drums, Vocals, and Solo markers aren't inovative? Pro mode isn't innovative?

To each their own I guess. I've not really enjoyed the GH series much though. I have trouble recognizing HOPOs on it, and hate playing Bass.

HMX creates charting standards so that, for the most part, every RB charted song feels like a RB song, and difficulty is tempered and more controlled, where as GH has had several different authors, so the styles are all over the place, with different results (some songs in the GH series had 2-3 wildly different charts).

If you look at my examples (Awesomeness Detection, Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld), you might understand what I'm actually trying to get at. I'm not trying to say HMX's rules should be bent, but thinking out of line of standards can be fun sometimes. I don't think one 5-note chord in GH's entire catalog is really that big of a deal and, given it's use, is actually pretty interesting.

Wasn't an attack dude, just a comment (and yes, I read further down what you meant after the first post).

You could say things like the Snoop pack is innovating thinking. Or perhaps charting the Tuba to Bass on Saucy Jack?
