Innistrad's Gutter Grime seems like a fun card to use in an ooze deck.

I'm looking forward to the spoilers for the new set starting next week. That's the only time when the Magic site is interesting.

On a board game note, I picked up Ankh-Morpork: the Discworld board game the other day. It's pretty good, very true to the source material and it's a pretty fast, smooth game to play. It does have a very high 'screw with your opponent' factor though, which isn't for everyone.

The new article on Dark Ascension is so awesome. The art for Innistrad was some of the best ever and it looks like they're keeping it up with the new set...

Yes, I'm seriously considering going to the prerelease again if my friends are willing. The one for Innistrad was fun.

Even though I've stopped playing TCGs (why is the thread called CCGs, sorry I just jumped in the thread), I greatly enjoyed them while I played them.

    I went from
Pokemon to Yugioh to Neopets to Duel Masters to Magic the Gathering.
And to be very honest, I enjoyed the Neopets TCG the greatest out of all of them :I

I just found the amount of insane strategies and combinations that you could pull off to be really really exciting. But when I played, I always extended the winning conditions, so I can play for longer. The only thing about the game that sucked was that NO ONE played it. So I eventually had enough cards for 2 customizable decks and forced people to play with me. Which they were all pleasantly surprised at how fun it was :3

    My thoughts:
Neopets >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pokemon > Duel Masters > Yugioh > Magic (found it an incredible borefest, sorry ><)

Is anybody following the Dark Ascension reveals so far?

I'm really digging that new Sorin, but I've always had a weak spot for white/black decks. Wonder how he'll end up doing in limited (not sure if I'll be able to make it to the DA prerelease, would like to, though).

The last board game I played was called Duck Duck Go (there are a few people at my gaming club that have questionable sanity)

Its about as ridiculous as it looks, but its surprisingly fun to play. It uses a very similar play system to Wings Of War if anyones played that

He's currently selling for $40 - $50 each on ebay. that seems crazy to me; its like what people were paying when liliana first came out.
