Not really, i know alot of people who bought the music after the fact because they didnt get the games till weeks or even months after it came out. Hell, i didnt get RB1 and 2 for the 360 until a few months after RB2 came out. Until then i was stuck on the PS2 but Metallica was one of the first bands i looked for.
bands should sue Activision for ruining their exposure after running their franchise into the ground and now holding them back from allowing RB fans to purchase their music
Out of all those millions, how many of them bought it for the PS3 or 360? and after that, how many of them bought the DLC right away? My point is that even after all this time Metallica is still one of the top sellers, even tho tons of other bands have more songs. If i know a Dozen or so people who didn't buy the game a launch but at a later date along with getting the DLC even later, how many people actually bought the Metallica DLC at a later date?
It's f***ing Metallica. Of course it's gonna sell. The only thing is we don't know how much it costs and there's likely other licensing issues besides money.
