well, i would argue that disable miss sounds and chord numbering should also be on by default. i don't know any pro guitar players who can read those chord shape waves, esp. when you get into more complex chords, and miss sounds just annoy everyone. a lot of people seemingly have miss sounds on only because they aren't aware there's an option to turn it off.

I remember when I had to enter a code every time I wanted to turn hyperspeed on, you damn kids.

Let me add one setting I'd like for it to be saved: sorting by artist. Seriously, who prefers sorting by song title than by artist?

    *raises hand*

I usually go for specific songs rather than artists, and sorting by song helps me get to them faster. I almost exclusively use this sorting; I use artist sorting only if I really feel like playing several songs from the same artist.

On the topic at hand, I have no real opinion. I never use these modifiers anyway. Nope, not even breakneck speed. I know, I'm weird.

For PS3, where exactly is the option to disable missed sounds?
I can't ever seem to find it.
Is this option available in TB:RB too.

    thanks

Sort by leaderboard rank not only doesn't save, it doesn't even stay on any time you return to the menu. Hell, if someone in your party leaves, the sorting switches from leaderboard rank to difficulty.

Add me to the list that wishes RB3 could remember that I want chord numbering on and sort by date acquired.

I guess I'm spoiled by iOS where apps resume right where you left off. If xbox could add that feature I would be so, so happy!

I was one of those up to a few months ago. It wasn't a big deal while playing my main instrument but trying to play the others it is quite annoying.

How do you even do that, turn off miss sounds? I looked all over and couldn't find it. It wasn't under 'modifiers'

I don't prefer any particular sorting method to any other. Sometimes I scroll by title. Sometimes by artist. If I'm with randoms, I want to know if we have any common DLC and/or exports, so sorting by 'Date Acquired' is helpful. Sometimes for kicks I like to see how many times I've played some of the songs, so I do that one.
