    Coolsnoopy97's Rock Band 4 Song List

    Rock Band 4

    Here’s my dream setlist for RB4, fit with 140 songs!

    Note: I know, there are too many 80s songs and that metal is overbalanced, but it’s MY setlist. Nonetheless, I want to have a relatively balanced setlist, so any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on the variety will be taken into consideration.

    Songs in bold imply Keys Support. Note: Keys labeling in progress.

    Well I really like the setlist, one). because it has a lot of Metal I like and 2). most of the non Metal choices I like also. Though this would never work for a real game's setlist because of the unbalance in genres. But I have to say that this is probably in the top 3 of the ultimate setlists that I like, though it's sort of unfair to others that are more balanced, but still I like it .

    Also if you want to make a setlist that's more balanced, one day. Then also consider genres like Indie Rock, Emo, Alternative, Grunge and others.

    Far too much metal.

    And the fact there is absolutely no alternative and indie on your setlist is unforgivable. Ridiculously unbalanced.

    @Megalron

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Main reason I didn't put any indie rock, emo, alternative, or grunge in here was because i absolutely loathe those genres. I mean, RHCP, Foo Fighters, and My Chemical Romance are like my least favorite bands in the world. But I'll still try to implement a little grunge or something, cause I want a more balanced setlist.

    @Fly Guy

    Well, Muse does suck. I can see you dominantly like Alternative. Well, I don't, and it is my wish list. But, as I said before, I do want to make it more balanced.

    HOW DARE YOU?! Alice in Chains or Pretty Girls Make Graves could add some balance but To Each His Own

    Did somebody change the rules to these threads lately? Setlists are about simulating what the next Rock Band would be for the entire audience, not a bunch of songs you want in the game.

    I mean, RHCP, Foo Fighters, and My Chemical Romance are like my least favorite bands in the world.
    Those aren't the only 3 alternative bands in the world. Alt/Indie is an incredibly wide scope of numerous genres. To say you hate the entire genre, in truthfulness, you haven't looked hard enough through it.

    @GameMaster

    I thought you liked my setlist! But in all seriosity, I do have some appreciation for Alice in Chains, so I might put one of their songs on there.

    @Fly Guy

    RHCP, Foo Fighters, and MCR aren't the only alt bands I've heard of, they're just some of the most popular ones. I dislike alternative music because the music is neither pleasant to listen to (like rock or even pop) or displays any instrumental talent (when was the last time there was an Alternative guitar solo?). But that's just my opinion.

    I know how to take criticism, I will add some grunge, pop, punk, and (shudders) alternative.

    And it would be helpful if I could have feedback on the songs that're actually ON the setlist, not the ones that didn't make it.

    Most alternative music is about integration and not about guitar solos. What one could lack in instrumental talent can make up for songwriting ability.
