For the very first time since I uploaded this setlist 3 months ago, a song on here has finally appeared for DLC. Guess it goes to show you how much DLC must have sucked for me recently.

Actually, two songs, I Believe in a Thing Called Love, and Thunder Kiss. I deleted those, so now I need to find 2 songs to replace them, preferrably a modern rock song and a nu-metal song.

The only songs I could think of to fit your description were from Lenny Kravitz and Nickelback. If you don't like them, okay, but I tried.

I always thought Lenny Kravitz was pretty cool, so I could add one of his songs. I really dislike Nickelback, but a modern rock band similar could work.

And in response to 3pic, thanks for the feedback. However, I have to comment on your reviewing process. If I rated all rhythm games based on how many songs I specifically liked, then most in these forums would get a 2 or 3, and real setlists would get scores like 4 (RB3), 1 (GH5), and 6 (RB1). This would make it near impossible for an actually good setlist to get a 7 or 8, merely because there will never be a setlist that features nearly entirely of songs or bands you like. Review how you like, but I think you might be giving disproprotionate grades here. When I review, I prefer to keep in mind the realism, the song choices, the amount of big bands, how fun each song would be to play, and the balance.

Fair enough. I believe you deserve a more fair review.

    Realism - 7
    Song Choice - 8
Number of Big Bands - 9
    Fun to Play - 9
    Balance - 10
    Overall - 8.6/10

    Good Job.

But it is your setlist, after all, so do as you please.

    You sir, are amazing<3

About my opinion on the setlist...
I know a grand total of 20 songs on this setlist, which is /fantastic/. Entering Rock Band 3 I knew about 5 songs(Misery Business, China Grove, Bohemian Rhapsody, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, and Crazy Train). But it still turned out to be my favorite setlist of all time after playing through it twice. It even beat the invincible Lego Rock Band setlist, which was golden.
Anyway, the definite highlight of this setlist is "You Gotta Fight For Your Right (To Party)". Sucks there's no Paramore in it though :/
Oh and if you were curious, out of those 20 I love 11 songs, feel indifferent about 8, and hate 1.

    7/10 setlist. Good job :3

Thanks for the feedback. I'm afraid I detest pop-rock bands like Paramore, but since I'm trying to add variety, and this setlist needs pop, you might get lucky.

I agree with you that Rock Band 3 had hardly any well-known songs, and the ones that were well-known, were copied from Guitar Hero (outside of Rainbow in the Dark, which was the only reason I bought the game). I knew a little more than 5 songs, but it was still pretty vague and I didn't really warm up to it. That's why I bought so much DLC and imported the legendary RB2 instead. Interested to hear you liked LRB, I thought that setlist had enough pop to make me vomit. But each to their own!

Out of curiosity, which was the 1 song you hated?

On a different note, I expanded the Toughest Songs for each Instrument to Top 5 in the 2nd post. I think the choices are pretty accurate, but be sure to comment if you have any gripes.

Definitely Freak on a Leash. Just not into it, I'm afraid :/
    And thats great news! :3

To each his own, I know that Pop Rock isn't for everyone, but that's ok!
Also La Bamba isn't /that/ hard to sing. It can be tough, but I don't think its Top 5 material. Speaking from personal experience, American Pie is a LOT harder to sing than La Bamba is. But of course vocal difficulties are probably the most subjective of them all.
