To be honest, I heavily dislike Freak on a Leash myself, I just added it for alt-rock variety.

As for La Bamba, if Me Enamora was Devil-Tiered entirely due to being in a different language, I thought that would apply to La Bamba, especially as I think it's tough to sing regardless. But you're right, there's probably tougher stuff there. Can't agree with American Pie, though, it didn't seem that difficult to sing. McLean sings in a pretty simple pitch. But again, it's all subjective. I'll take a second look.

Speaking of which, I thought Me Enamora was also horrendously overtiered :3
I mean Hey Man, Nice Shot was only 2 dots! What's up with that :P

Of course I may not be the best one to ask because I can speak Spanish well, but La Bamba is really well known (as far as I know) in non Spanish speaking groups, way more so than Me Enamora.

American Pie is just a personal experience. Singing that one was tough for me XP

    Added another song.

Rocket Man by Elton John: Although it could be called classic rock, I always found Elton John to be more of a pop artist (with Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting one of his more rock songs), so I labeled it Pop, bringing the genre up to 3.

I'm going to start adding songs regularly now to totally balance this setlist out. This could possibly stretch to 200 songs, lol.

Right now, I'm focusing on Indie Rock and it seems like with all the alt-rock fans, I could use a little more Alternative. Most of you probably know I hate those genres, though. So while I've obviously gone beyond adding bands that abide to what I can withstand with Radiohead, I would still prefer adding music I like (or at the very least won't vomit upon listening to) to stuff I hate. Therefore, I could use some suggestions on Alt and Indie rock for a guy who thinks Coldplay and RHCP are the worst bands in the world, but would actually listen to Jane's Addiction and Alice in Chains (the only two alt-rock/grunge bands in the world I could possibly say I LIKE).

I'm already thinking of adding a Modest Mouse song (Float On is the only Indie rock song on my iPod) and Muse (believe it or not, this used to be my least favorite band in the world and I vowed not to include it on this list, but I'm finding it could add variety to the setlist, so long the song isn't atrocious like Assassin).

    Anyway, suggestions would help tremendously.

Balance =/= piles and piles of songs.

If you're not going to contribute, please stay the hell out of my threads.

I've been trying my best to balance this setlist for the last few months and I'm confident I'll get there.

Let's see, REM's not bad, but I already have one of their songs on here. I'll look into the others, thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, and like I said, the more you add, the less 'balance' it has, and the more plain ol' stuff it has.

Take what Rock Band currently has. It'd be harder to get to 3,200 songs WITHOUT 'balance' than with. It's not balanced when you add more, it's just deflating how much each individual song affects that desire.

Fair enough, but I feel this setlist, based on all the feedback, needs more songs in certain genres. I'm definitely going to delete songs at the very end, so it has, as you say, less ol' stuff in it. But people keep saying this setlist has absolutely no Alternative, Indie, and Pop, so I'm going to listen to that feedback.
