Exporting Lego Rockband songs with the xbox 360 games on demand copy

I recently purchased lego rockband from the games on demand store for the xbox 360. Later did I realise I needed a code to export the songs into rock band 3. I"m hoping someone know"s how to get a code because I purchased the game and I don't want to feel ripped off because I purchased a game from games on demand. If theres no way to get a new code then I will not be purchasing rockband games or games from xbox 360 games on demand anymore.

See if it will let you do the export from the Lego Rock Band store. The key might already be downloaded.

Exportability is not available from downloaded copies, just hard copies that came with a code sheet.

The code accesses the file as an add-on RB file download as opposed to the stand alone game, you dont need the disc, just the code that came with the disc.
