that's weird. who else is looking forward to this beast of a game? I didn't even get too into Oblivion because of the lousy 3rd person view, but Skyrim looks to have the makings of a fantastic game all over it.

It's gotten some mentions in the Fallout thread but this is as close to an official thread as it has. It'll pick up as the game gets closer to launch.

The game looks genuinely amazing, and it may be enough to win over my staunch apathy towards the fantasy genre. It's not disdain or hatred, it's just weary indifference. (Up to about the 0:57 mark, this [NSFW language] sums up my feelings on the genre pretty well. So much potential that no one is interested in exploring.)

I hated Oblivion and Fallout 3. It's good that they made the character figures a lot less laughable looking, but there's nothing else here that I saw that's going to change my mind.

I loved Oblivion. I had an Imperial who was a beast at everything. Beat all the guilds and dlc too.
Later I used some dupe glitches to give him insane amounts of magic points and stat boosts.
Ill use a similar character in Skyrim, only now he is dual wielding blades.
