1 top selling RBN song
1 HMX pick
1 top requested or something like that
1 most played (if that were feasible, but it probably is, just have to query the database with player records to see which RBN song has the most total number of actual scores and the playcount from each player?)
1 newest rockband song (one of the ones released on the 360 just over 30 days ago)
1 completely random song?
not saying it's necessarily a good idea, but I think it would be interesting... please don't get mad at me harmonix XP
but like they said, if you get the top selling songs which are like all metal.... a lot of people will be upset.
also, just wondering, what's the feasibility of releasing RBN 1.0 songs as track packs or something? you know, in disc form or something? would that circumvent sony's restrictions? would sony even approve such a thing? would the artists approve? I'm sure like amberian dawn could probably just have their own track pack.... but as for other bands, maybe a royalty for each CD sold? they make like half the money they would make if they were actually legitimately brought over as dlc maybe, but they have no chance of making that money anyway... so it'd be better than no money?
I think he was referring to disc track packs.
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy Dover Guano Apes More Miley Cyrus
The Rasmus The Veronicas More Volbeat
People also need to think of variety more in the long term rather than just one week at a time. This goes for a lot of HMX DLC discussion threads too.
Beyond that, it would cost money to license, and money to print the discs.
We've only seen the Country Track Pack 2 lately, and I think that's partially because the track packs, outside of the Country ones, don't sell very well (The Country packs are the hardest to find cheep).
