Hey guys, I usually lurk here on the forums and never use this account....but today I got bored and made a personal Rock Band 4 setlist for like an hour. I tried to balance out the genres (even though I'm low on metal compared to others I guess haha) and decades (except for 2000's I guess ), but yeah. I tried to keep it a little bit realistic, as well (so no Zep, Floyd, U2, etc.) but yeah some parts of it are still unrealistic I guess haha. Anyways, here it is:

It's not bad, but the lack of decent metal music is unforgivable. There isn't a single metal track until the 2000's, so that alone would stop me from buying this. But the classic rock choices in the 60s and 70s are great.

Thanks for the input, I am definitely missing some decent metal. I counted up 98 songs on the setlist, so I went ahead and added a couple of classic metal tracks to make it an 100-song setlist....I'll probably make that my limit

60's 70's are awesome the 80's 90's I don't have a solid opinion, but there is tooooooo many songs from the 00's and 10's (Jesus christ 12 songs in only two years?)

Good point...I got rid of a couple of songs that were maybe too overtly-synth heavy or were repeating genres so while the '00s and '10s still have a lot, it's not as much as before. Still might change a couple in the '80s though.

So I decided to bump this since I stumbled upon it after forgetting that I made this around the time I first started to post here. Anyways, I noticed that 8 songs on my setlist have been released as DLC since then so I decided to update my list! I'm still keeping it a relatively realistic (so RB3-style variation) 85-song setlist, so here's what's getting replaced with what:

I've kinda overloaded my setlist with a lot of alternative already (though granted most is from the 2000's) but I'll consider some 90's alternative in whatever gets replaced next since my 90's section is kinda lacking compared to the rest.

As for Dream Theater, deal. I'm not really into DT, so I just thought of the first song by them that came to my head....also I realized that a good amount of my new song replacements were GH repeats, so that makes Metropolis even more appealing.
