    Ugh Owl City.

Owl City is to Death Cab for Cutie as Creed is to Pearl Jam.

I've only heard bad things about them, so I've abstained from listening to them. I guess that was a good life choice.

yeah, they're not totally...bad, I suppose, it sounds alright, but it's just really emotional unemotional lyrics, if that makes sense. And the lead singer sounds WAY to much like Ben Gibbard.

i despise death cab, so this may be the first band i've heard whose name refers to my favorite bird that i dislike.

Their not as bad as they could be(from the one song I've heard in our Playlist Fridays in English) but they definitely lack a decent singer.

I kind of dig the instrumentation, but then I heard the voice...briefly thought it was Death Cab, but then somehow realized it wasn't as good as Death Cab, haha.

That was my exact reaction to it(besides the Death Cab part because I still need to check them out).I haven't heard it in awhile but I think I recall the vocalist being autotuned quite a bit throughout the song(which typically annoys me), that might be another song I heard in class though.
