Fix for Rickenbacker Strum?

Recently noticed down strums weren't registering properly in-game. Could hear something loose inside. Opened it up and sure enough a corner on the strum bar had broken off and the plastic making the contact points was busted and about to snap off as well. Will superglue even work to fix this or is there a better solution? Thanks

Maybe, along with gluing the broken piece, some of the tips in this Doc_SoCal video can help.

Super glue will work for a little while.

If you want to fix it I would use CA (Super Glue) first then back it up with faststeel. http://www.sculpt.com/technotes/Repoxy/FastSteel.htm

OR

Just buy a new strum assembly from Bytearts. They make VERY good stuff.
