DLC Discussion Week of 9/6 - Cheap Trick 3-pack & EMF

Cheap Trick kick off the week with a 3-pack of their biggest hits. As one of the world’s greatest live rock acts, it’s only fitting that we have iconic live performances of two tracks – “I Want You to Want Me” and “Surrender”, straight from one of their masterpieces – 1978’s Cheap Trick at Budokan. The original studio recording of “Dream Police” rounds out this outstanding 3-pack headed to your console this Tuesday!

In addition, Rock Band fans should rejoice with a collective “Oh!” at the appearance of EMF’s 1990 chart-topping hit, “Unbelievable”. This re-record of everyone’s favorite party jam is sure to get your whole band up on their feet.

As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.

Available on Xbox 360, Wii andPlayStation®3 system (September 6th, 2011):
    • Cheap Trick – “I Want You to Want Me (Live)”
    • Cheap Trick – “Surrender (Live)” X
    • Cheap Trick – “Dream Police”
    • EMF –“Unbelievable (Re-Record)” X

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system September 7th)

The Cheap Trick tracks will be available as “Cheap Trick Pack 01”, an all tracks will be available for purchase individually on Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii. Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

    Price:
    $5.49, £2.49 UK, €3.99 EU (440 Microsoft Points, 550 Wii Points™) for “Cheap Trick Pack 01”
$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points) per song

This really suprised me. I didn't expect it at all. I'll pick up all of it, but I would have preferred the studio version of "Surrender".
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

    Unhappy

Heaven forbid we get other tunes from Cheap Trick that wasnt on GH already. I was rooting for She's Tight, so I wasn't expecting much hope. EMF, I'll buy it but blah.
