    "Fargo Dontchyaknows" sounds much better.

Riles is right about Vegas as well. Aside from the fact that gambling is legal there, the entire city's a mess with the collapsed economy. They've been talking about building a stadium for a while now and already had some plans under way with the Silver State Arena that were quickly withdrawn. There's a new proposal being talked about, but there are tons of issues to work through.

If the town does get a pro team, it'll be an NBA franchise first. Apparently there's a team that's "under contract" to play in Vegas if the city gets a quality stadium built.

Personally, I hope they get an NBA team, just for all the news potential of NBA players living and working in the City of Sin.

All they need is an NBA All-Star Weekend there every once in a while. News from that lasted for months.

Although, the thought of going from one franchise QB to potentially another lessens the blow. A little bit.

Not much though, I really wish he could have won another ring for Indy and its fans.
I remember feeling the same way during the Joe Montana/Steve Young drama back in the day.

Although I hope he gets a better franchise than the Chiefs... that place is a graveyard for NFL careers. I have lived in local broadcast distance of the franchise all my life and they have never failed to come up disappointing.

The CFL championship means less than your preseason record.

If he has to go, I wish him well. Just stay away from Cleveland, KC, Oakland, the Jets and the Vikings.

I don't see him going to the Jets. Benching Mark Sanchez for a year or two to allow Manning to play isn't going to help Sanchez at all (seeing as Sanchez is the team's long-term QB currently), and having Manning on the bench is simply insane.

The Vikings appear to have finally drafted a QB with long-term potential.

The reason I say the Jets, is because Rex Ryan is desperate for a Super Bowl, and I doubt Sanchez will be the one to give it to the team. Manning, with that defense (which, even at it's relatively sub-par year is better than the 06 Colts D that helped win it all) almost assures the Lombardi, assuming he doesn't get hurt.

And the only reason I said anything about the Vikings is because nobody ever wins anything with the Vikings. If Favre couldn't do it (though he was robbed by the officials in that NFC title game), nobody can.

I'm not sure how Rex Ryan would feel about bringing in Manning, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear he'd be completely for it. I'm not so sure how higher-ups would feel about bringing him in, though. While they're clearly not adverse to making risky personnel decisions, I feel some people in the organization might draw parallels to the Favre year, as incorrect as those parallels might be. My guess is it would largely depend on if the Jets make the playoffs this year and, if they do, how far they go.

    3.Sacramento
    4.San Antonio
    5.Orlando
    6.Las Vegas
    7.Columbus
    8.Austin
    9.Norfolk
    10.Providence

That leaves Portland, Las Vegas, Norfolk and Providence. Out of those my money is on Portland.

I could see the Rams moving to Portland if they continue to have issues relating to attendance and appathy in STL. Keeps them in the NFC west and adds another element to that rivalry with the Seahawks

Seahawks sign Peyton Manning in the offseason (since they shot themselves in the foot as far as drafting a QB in the 1st round is concerned). He lasts half the season before suffering a career ending injury caused by Patrick Willis.
