    RBN 2.0 Indie/Non-Mainstream music suggestions.

Not sure if this is where to post this, but I figured I'd complie a list of of some indie along with a few other genre songs in response to the why you don't buy RBN songs. Working in radio I hear a vast range of songs, demo's etc. These are some of the few songs that have stood out. Some work well for group play, some offer a challenge, others are just enjoyable to listen/play in general.

Saw Mika, and I was like "I must've missed that!" but nooooo.

This list is pretty useless for people here imo. Might as well make a list of decent sounding songs that are actually playable, then that would be a good help.

    Pointless? No.
This is just what he wants in the game. I would like to see some of these as well.

Well, some of these artists you've listed are on major labels. (Mika, for example, is on Universal.) So they would have a pretty slim chance of making it on RBN. Though, since we are talking about indie bands, we could try people on small indie labels. I'd love try and get people like Jon Auer or Miles Fisher for RBN. Those people have really good music and I don't think they're on any major labels.
Big thanks to AskariNari for bringing one half of The Posies to Rock Band!

Speaking of labels, does anybody know if Metropolis Records has a stance about RBN? KMDFM jumps out at me on that list, but their songs on RBN are from the band's own label, and not Metropolis.

I'm curious because Juno Reactor's Pistolero is on my Rock Band wishlist, and Metropolis Records doesn't appear to be owned by a larger record company, as far as my Wiki search has brought me.

It seems to me like it'd be an interesting song to play in Rock Band, and it's out-there enough that maybe nobody's tried them yet.

agree indie is sorely lacking in RB, and the Network seems to be the best channel to get it into the game. week-by-week, its one disappointment after another

Must hate every major labeled artist than if you hate every week?
