As stated in the above thread, HMX will announce 4 all star artists early if we reach 2 million before 19th September and as each week passes without reaching this goal the number of artists announced will decrease.

So if we get the 4 artists announced what do you think they will be?

Rules:
1. You can only choose 4 artists.

My prediction is:
1. The Beatles
2. Aerosmith
3. Iron Maiden
4. Van Halen

Edit (25th September):
As we will probably only get 2 artists revealed early and HMX's clues, my new prediction is:

1. Iron Maiden (Already has DLC)
2. AFI (90's/2000's band and already has DLC)

i replied in a different thread, i take "All Star DLC artists" to mean Top Selling DLC artists.

So out of the list of the top ten DLC artists that Harmonix announced I will guess, Beatles, Metallica, more RHCP (since we're already expecting an announcement about Give It Away/Dani after Drake's comments at PAX), and Blink 182 (they have a new album coming in about 2 weeks)

I wonder if, should 2 million be reached after 9/19, HMX will eventually reveal who the other artist(s) would have been had all four been announced at the same time.

i tend to agree... I can see the Beatles since they're the top seller in terms of DLC and Harmonix said they're still working on it but I can't see Van Halen and Aerosmith.

What are people's interpretation of a "DLC All Star"? A top 10 seller, a band with a large amount of DLC in the game already, or a "most requested" band?

Like I pointed out to somebody in another thread, the last early announcement we got was for Poison (we had none of their songs beforehand), System of a Down (2 songs) and Avenged Sevenfold (7 songs), so it's tough to say.

Real predictions due to album releases coming up
Jane's Addiction (new album + album already in Rock Band)
Journey (Perfect time to advertise new greatest hits set)
Megadeth (Rock Band all star with 2 albums)
Lou Reed with Metallica (why not)

Definitely. My interpretation of a "DLC all star" could certainly be different than your interpretation or Harmonix's interpretation. Where's HMXHenry when you need him? We need a vague hint that will drive us crazy for a few weeks haha.

He's already said the forums will enjoy the announcement more than the twitter or facebook communities. Which to me says Muse Muse Muse.
