My suggestion would be to look in the RBN forum. Perhaps This old thread started by HMX might be a good place to start.

It doesn't matter how long you have a poll posted for, it's not going to change the underlying fact of what I was saying there. The people who use this forum are a tiny minority of the userbase in total, and the people who would even care about not having full double bass charting are similarly a tiny minority of the userbase. Solutions like "Make expert include double bass, make hard expert without double bass, and then just bump the old medium and hard levels down a step" is talking about making a major negative impact on something like 40-50% of the userbase in order to please a single digit percentage of users.

It doesn't matter how many votes you get in a poll like this, because the biggest response you could ever expect out of such a poll will only be representative of the tiny minority of players who actually use the forums.

I bet you could get a poll over at ScoreHero that might be unanimously in favor of this, but that wouldn't change the fact that the opinions at ScoreHero are only representative of the 3% or so of the RB player base that use those forums or that the opinions of the other 97% of the player base vary wildly from the ScoreHero demographic.

I agree with you. Double bass is something that only the hardcore fans of Rock Band would be interested in, casual players probably wouldn't care one way or the other. Die hard fans demand more.

The poll options are ridiculous, though. "No, double bass bad" is not accurate. I'm sure not many people think there's anything bad about double bass. But in a system where only 5 tracks a week get through to PS3, "No, double bass should not be a priority over larger actually unique song library" is my answer if such a poll option existed.

Well, apparently we got our cake and we get to eat it, too. 5 2xBass versions of songs added to the PS3 store this upcoming week, in addition to 5 non-2xBass tracks. So it seems it was possible to get Sony to lift the 5-a-week threshold to allow some 2xBass tracks in without throttling the port rate on non-2xBass songs in the process.

And yay, Cynic on PS3 (in whichever drum flavour you like).

My guess is don't expect it to be more than a once every 3 months or so thing, if that.

Sure, if you ignore how you got nothing last week, so you've gotten ten songs in two weeks, which is five a week.

We missed one week of songs and then got 10 songs each of the next two weeks. Twenty songs in three weeks as opposed to the usual fifteen.

Now see, that's a wonkier issue, because Europe just flat out didn't get that extra five. There is some disconnect between assorted Sony areas about how to handle 'extra' content, so it's not very easy to say it can just happen now.

If they sell like gangbusters it could be a monthly thing but that is probably unlikely, though I bet the demand for this is higher than pro guitar, and much easier to implement.

I doubt that, if only because pro guitar has much more popular songs to purchase.
