Well "Gold Cobra" is... ummm weird. The vocalist makes me kinda angry though, so I'll definitely pass that one. Consistent swearing isn't tough, it's just obnoxious. I mean sure, swearing can really bring out strong emotion in a song if used sparingly, or make it hilarious if used so often in a comedic fashion (like "I'm on a Boat"). But this song is taking itself serious... or at least I think so >_>

Alright, "Nookie" isn't that much better. But it's an improvement. I really dislike this vocalist now...or whatever he wishes to call himself. The instruments aren't really THAT fascinating, but I can see where some appeal lies. Losing morale, but I won't stop until I finish all 4 songs! I want to give everything the fair shake it deserves

Well, errrr, it gets annoying when it's the chorus because of the vocalist (again). It's not as bad as the 1st 2, and actually pretty decent. The change between the chorus and the rest of the song makes it not boring to listen to, which I like. But unfortunately for it, I'm not going to buy it. Oh well, at least I got one that I particularly enjoyed out of these 4~

"Re-Arranged" is alright, I guess. It's leagues better than the 1st 2, but not as good as "My Way". It's not that it's glaringly bad or annoying (in fact the vocalist is at his /best/ here), but it's kinda boring ><
At least that's what I think about it. I can dig a song with only a little variety, but the feel of the song just doesn't suit me. Oh well! *shrugs*

So that's that. A 0/4 week for me~
But that's quite alright, since my DLC buying habits are like... one or two songs a month. 0/X weeks never bother me, since I'll just be excited for next week

Well I resisted posting this for the last few weeks but I can't anymore.

Why am I still excited for Fridays? I havent bought more than one song since Def Leppard. I havent been truly excited for a week since Poison. I can't even remember the last time I had a long streak of buying DLC going.

I'm not going to say anything bad about recent DLC specifically. It just hasn't been to my taste. I'm happy that HMX is putting out weekly DLC. But I am (or was) a paying customer, and probably share my tastes with at least several other people. So, HMX will eventually return to putting out songs that I enjoy and will purchase, right?

Now is the time to remind folks that the forum is less than 1% of the audience and is statistically speaking so inherently biased it is scary. By this, I mean that we have what is referred to in statistics as "voluntary response bias". Basically, you typically must feel very strongly about a subject to go out of your way to talk about it on a message board. This inherently marks you as not mainstream. It's the same reason why you very seldomly hear moderate callers on radio talk shows.

Well good for the mainstream then. That's kind of the forums problem, HMX has to cater to the masses and the masses, in my estimation, like crap. Know what else would sell well, Kesha. Know what else I wouldn't buy, Kesha... because I think Kesha sucks. I didn't buy Slipknot last week because it's not my thing, it's just too loud and aggressive for me, but I couldn't complain because I can at least see why some people would like them. Limp Bizkit just sucks in my eyes. And I have every right to point out that I think Limp Bizkit sucks and I'm not going to buy it.

I made an account just to say that Limp Bizkit sucks and this is a horrible week for DLC. Fred Durst is a joke.

Is it too much to ask for some real metal. I hope you guys do better in October. I need some real metal like say Slayer or Black Sabbath or something to that degree.

I was hoping that in October we could get some fun Halloween related DLC. The Misfits, Samhain, Type O, etc.. So cmon lets make it happen guys. No more of this rap metal bullcrap.
