Well honestly every contest on RBN is about building awareness and sales for that groups offerings. 95% of our content is 360 only so we have to work with what we have to work with.

If we had the same amount of content on PS3 or Wii, or PC, or the sega dreamcast, then we would have opened the contest to them as well.

I understand your frustration but we only have so much to work with on the PS3 in regards to the content we have available at this point. We did start a Rishloo contest (the same one we ran on 360 earlier this year) on the PS3, so it's not like we're totally ignoring the PS3 fan base.

Later on down the road when/if our content on PS3 justifies such a large contest and prize suite we'll do something similar for the PS3 RBN users.

But until then it just isn't financially viable (remember we have to purchase all these prizes out of pocket) to do such a massive prize offering when we've only got three songs on the system to promote.

I do understand, but there were plenty of options to make this a PS3/360 contest given the prize (all TAG songs on both systems). It's not an issue of contests favoring the 360, I do understand that, it's the exclusiveness of a prize like the Squeir.

But yeah, the 360 is your money maker, so I understand feeding it.

Again if we had 30 songs on the PS3 like we do the 360, then you can guarantee we would have made this a multi platform contest.

It's just hard to justify giving a way a squier for a three song contest. There's just not enough revenue boost from those three songs to offset the cost of the guitar (not to mention the rest of the prizes offered).

Hopefully at some point in the future we'll have a big enough library of songs on the PS3 and we'll do this again for the PS3 crowd.

the Creatures Ov Deception thing is FANTASTIC. I have requested that song for so long, never got ported to PS3, FINALLY we'll have a definite chance of getting that one. Uber song.

Eden's Curse seems a solid band, and No Holy Man is defenetly a good choice. Could this be a sign of Dream Theater through RBN finally (that said along the announcement of the DT single)? This band was rumored about a year ago... but nothing happened... WHY?

The Infinite Descent by Spires is fantastic. Reminds me a lot of the older cynic/death stuff. Gonna get this for sure.

I'll get all the jukebox in the ghost stuff that will come out. EVERY SONG.
