I actually reached out to Maximum the Hormone a while back and never heard back from them. I actually reached out to quite a few Japanese metal and visual kei style bands, and only heard back from one of them, who is very interested and we may end up bringing (look for them in the future RBN Announcement Threads if all goes well).

I haven't read through the whole thread yet, but if you guys have any favorites, I'll try and look into them.

I love the idea of this thread. I really want Maximum the Horomone, Whoever does this song, The Pillows, Bump of Chicken, and Dir En Gray.

Anyone who reaches out to the artist of the One Piece opening, I would love them forever. And ever.

Same with me, I contacted quite a few of Japanese artists as well & got one reponse back. I hope the band who contacted you back joins. ^_^

I'm not really sure but I agree that it's not fair.

Mind sharing who your response was from?
If they don't have an authoring studio, we may be willing to pick up a song or two of theirs depending on who they are.

And I'm confident the band we've been in contact with will be brought eventually. They're excited, and we're pretty much just waiting to hear back from the label at this point.

Okay I'm game, They are a Japan metal band called NAMAZ (you can find them on the domestic US CD release Hardcore: Hits From Japan Vol.1 & their NAMAZ EP on iTunes). A RBN author already forwarded them to I think Offbeat Entertainment when I told him that they were interested in joining the RBN. I haven't seen anything added & it's been months, I hope everything is going alright.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear it. We may see a Japanese band added this year like X Japan's I.V was added years back. Who was the band that got back with you?

Those guys sound really interesting, and like they'd be insanely difficult to play. I'll message Offbeat and see if they're doing anything with them, if not, then I'll toss an email their way.

With the band I'm speaking to, I'm waiting until we get everything in before making the announcement. So you'll have to wait also

    Awesome, Thanks!

I'm cool with that, good things come to those who wait.
