    RBN1.0, PS3, and Pro Drums

When HMX ported RBN1.0 songs to PS3 and Wii, did they 'fix' any Pro drum charting errors?

I'm not sure about fixing errors, but there are a couple of cases where they actually did add Pro Drum charting to the PS3 version that was not there in the Xbox version.

Here is an email exchange I had about "Piranha" by Pretty & Nice that I got from TheAuthority (RBN charting group):
If my memory is correct this is one of the cross over tunes that was updated for PS3 at the time we were made privy to the pro drums authoring. I'm not certain but I think it does have pro tom markers for PS3. It may have been one of the first to do so. The only way to know for sure would be to check it out for yourself. I don't have PS3 personally. I can't answer with 100% assurance. Sorry.
I'm also pretty sure that "Ultimate Showdown..." by Lemon Demon was done when they ported it to PS3 (I can confirm that it DOES have Pro Drums on PS3).

Ultimate Showdown actually has pro drums on the original Xbox 360 version as well. It was hard to notice because there's only one two instances of it in the song anyway.

Can you provide an example with video charts?

I'm not saying this never happened, but if it did, I'm not aware of it.

I can't seem to find any RB3 videos of it ("Piranha" by Pretty & Nice), but I was just going off of what the author of the song told me in the quoted email above, though to be fair he said he wasn't totally sure about it either. I may just go ahead and buy the song to see for myself. At least I would be able to confirm whether or not it has pro drums on PS3, but I don't have Xbox so I can't check that version.

According to the site, it was released on Xbox on July 7, 2010. However, it was released on PS3 on June 2, 2011 (though due to the PSN being down during that time, the in-game store said it was released on May 23, 2011). I'm not sure when RBN starting charting Pro Drums, but I'm guessing it was after July 2010.

Except for an early test song done by a HMX employee, the earliest pro drum songs started releasing around July of 2010. The initial announcement (ignored by a lot of people) on how to do pro drum authoring occured on June 18, 2010. Hourcast and Kramus were among the first groups to have songs with pro drums, once again, in July.
