There are some good songs on there, but there's far too much pop and far too little metal.

I also heavily disliked the Rainbow choice. Such an incredible band, and you chose a song from their sell-out years? Rainbow really went downhill after Dio left, I would recommend choosing something from Rising or Long Live Rock and Roll, it's epic metal at it's best and would be hell on Guitar.

I felt I had maybe to much metal, but most of my metal is hidden in bands that don't usually do metal, such as Fuel, Incubus, Polkadot Cadaver, and Diablo Swing Orchestra with some of their heavier tracks in the setlist. And bands such as Powderburn and Nobody Lives Forever add an almost unknown element with their presence.

I hear this especially, I made many very questionable song choices, such as Let The Cables Sleep from Bush, and September Sun from Type O Negative, which are neither the most popular or fun to play songs from those bands, and the song you pointed out is no different, the reason I did that is because I am planning DLC from all those bands and I may say I'm saving some pretty good songs for those DLC packs.

I'm actually quite flattered by this score.

Another thing I went for with this setlist is to have every last song feature Guitar, Drums, Keys, Vocals, and Bass. Songs like Jackyl's The Lumberjack don't actually have keys, so I decided why not chart the songs very prominent Chainsaw to keys(not a joke here guys) and it ended up working in an awesome yet not very fun to play result, either way I feel people would enjoy playing chainsaw on keys.

Your tiering post has some wonky colors(red switches to another shade at some point, one song is all red without being all dots).

Incubus is no way, have never been, and never will be metal, or related in any form. They are stricly an alternative rock band and do not count. And while Polka Dot Cadaver and Diablo String Orchestra are technically avant-garde metal, the genre is so radical and bizarre, that the bands should not be included without sufficient metal bands from other genres as well, as some metalheads simply aren't a fan of avant-garde metal. When I listened to those songs, I was so perturbed, I had no idea how it was even correlated to metal. I could not distinguish any Guitar, even.

I always save my best songs for my setlist. You shouldn't compromise good songs for DLC, because it's usually the setlist that counts.

And I thought there were some good enough songs to warrant 7.5. However, some choices are simply too questionable and the genres are unbalanced.

I would definitely add some more metal and cut down on the obscure bands. It's not bad to have obscure music on a setlist. In fact, it adds more variety and avoids being generic. But a setlist can't have all unknown songs. A setlist needs a decent quantity of songs from well-known bands from a variety of genres.

I would suggest listening to that Incubus song, as it is from their debut which is essentially a tame Mr. Bungle album, you may be surprised at what you find there.

Night Sun -- Got A Bone Of My Own
Rainbow -- Since You Been Gone
    Hear N' Aid -- Stars
    Helloween -- Dr. Stein
    Judas Priest -- Turbo Lover
Mercyful Fate -- Come To The Sabbath
    Metallica -- Fade To Black
Queensryche -- Eyes Of A Stranger
    Rush -- Freewill
Thin Lizzy -- Angel Of Death
Dream Theater -- Take The Time
Faith No More -- Last Cup Of Sorrow
    Ministry -- N.W.O.
Mr. Bungle -- Squeeze Me Macaroni
Abigail Williams -- I/The World Beyond
    Aghora -- Satya
    Alestorm -- Heavy Metal Pirates
Diablo Swing Orchestra -- Tap Dancer's Dilemna
    King's X -- Believe
    Opeth -- Master's Aprentice
Project Hate MCMXCIX -- The Locust Principles
    Strapping Young Lad -- Love?
Type O Negative -- September Sun
Daniel Lioneye -- I Have Never Wanted To Be Number One
    Fozzy -- New Day's Dawn
    Kvelertak -- Blodtorst
    Unexpect -- Orange Vigilantes

Those songs are by bands on my setlist that are on the Metal Archives, and are for the most part(besides Rush) metal bands, am I saying that my picks from Rainbow, Judas Priest, King's X, Type O Negative, or Fozzy are metal, no because in my mind they aren't, but those bands are metal.

King Crimson -- 21st Century Schizoid Man(Heavy Prog Song)
    Attila -- Wonder Woman(Heavy Psych)
    Jackyl -- The Lumberjack(Glam Metal)
Lita Ford -- Kiss Me Deadly(Hard Rock)
    Van Halen -- Jump(Hard Rock/Glam Metal)
Whitesnake -- Still Of The Night(Glam Metal)
Dog Fashion Disco -- Lost In Anacostia(Avant-Garde)
    Fishbone -- Sunless Saturday(Funk Metal)
    Incubus -- Redefine(Funk Metal)
    Living Colour -- Nothingness(Funk Metal)
    Sevendust -- Black(Nu-Metal/Hard Rock)
    Hurt -- Wars(Hard Rock)
iwrestledabearonce -- Eli Cash Vs. The Godless Savages(Metalcore)
Lostprophets -- Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja(Nu-Metal)
Muse -- Stockholm Syndrome(Heavy Prog Song)
Polkadot Cadaver -- Pure Bedlam For Halfbreeds(Avant-Garde)
Powderburn -- The Lights Go Down(Metalcore)
Slipknot -- All Hope Is Gone(Nu-Metal)
We Came As Romans -- Broken Statues(Metalcore)
Nobody Lives Forever -- Pain And Wastings(Metalcore)

The bands and songs mentioned above are bands or songs that fall under Nu-Metal, Heavy Prog, Heavy Psychedelic, Metalcore, Funk Metal, Heavy Avant-Garde or Hard Rock and have been called metal at one point but for whatever reason are not listed on Metal Archives. Either way you look at it you have at least 21 metal songs and up to 47, which is anywhere between 1/7th and over 2/7ths of the setlist. When compared to genres such as Punk which at latest count has 3 songs(due to my inability to find Punk songs with keys) it is a big number of songs. I hear your complaints and I agree to an extent, but if anything needs to be changed it is my number of Punk songs.
