All play tests/play testers should be THOROUGH
thats why I said depends on the song, instrument and difficulty.

i've only ever completed 2 playtests under an hour, one was 26 minutes; because the song was a tier 0 drum chart, was 3 minutes long, and never changed beats the entire time. no need for a playtest like that to be 1.5 hours.

EDIT: should also say that the average PT for me is almost exactly 1.5 hours, but depending on what you're looking at, it is possible to look at all difficulties and animations, and be thorough in a shorter period of time.

    Why?

I would love to do this. I play Rockband 3 everyday and I keep playing and playing. but i'm a PS3 player and you're only giving this opportunity to XBOX players. and I'm a playstation plus subscriber! Hope you guys put something out there for PS3!

You can't Playtest anything on PS3, since it requires Xbox subscriptions I'm guessing they're willing to pay for. So sorry, but it is impossible for you.

PS3 doesn't have Audition Mode because RBN runs and depends on the XNA platform developed by Microsoft. It's technologically impossible to playtest songs on PS3.

No harm in a little bias with reviews i suppose as long as they are thorough and actually constructive ones eh. The little guys only getting songs threw because of scratching others backs in return for reviews back - however if the bigger authors want to support specific reviewers then good for them as long as it means they are getting the right kind of reviewer and a diverse enough pool of them.

A song passing on flawless guitar and bass charts isnt good enough - if SickHands can get someone for every instrument so each is scrutenised then awesome. That leaves five reviews needed from others where the whole back scratching can come into play... they get their songs reviewed and ideally the reviewers they subsidice have enough free time left to be used by RockGamer to review other authors songs.

Movies getting pulled was shocking - a big song from one of the bigger authors and apparantly no one seemed to clock the dodgie vocals inhouse or in review. Here is hoping we never see the likes again... anyway in regards RockGamers ad - who better than SickHands to screen potential candidates as he knows most of the community at least at face value already and is a pool of knowledge if they need guidance.
Hoping for more british music on RB Blitz
