I couldn't agree more. I'd love to play keys and harmonies on some great RB1/2-era DLC. And a way to hide the obsolete versions would be great, especially for the number of Queen songs that I have both an old and new version of in-game.

So, HMXHenry, any word on special treats for those who bought early?

Semi related question, as far a how this will relate to leaderboards: If I play the CTP2 legacy versions of these songs and then delete the export, does the total points scored on these 21 songs remain in my guitar score on the leaderboards, even if they are no longer in my library? Seems to me like a good way to "double dip" for about 2,000,000 points and move up a few spots on the board.

I'm going to say no. No crossovers or transfers of scores.

However, I am not limited to playing with only my "bandmates". I spend a good amount of time online and find new people all the time, so it will now be possible that we both have these songs, but think the other does not, because they are incompatible.

    3. Maybe not obsolete. They are still playable. But again, given the pack came out after RB3 release, it's a bit of a burn.
But you can only play with your friends NOW. The situation for you is EXACTLY the same - you can play with others that bought the CTP2 and you can't play with those that did not. The ONLY difference is that now you'd have to pay extra to play with those that cherry picked. However, there is NOT a change for you. Things didn't get worse - you just have to pay for the option of playing with anyone that wasn't an early adopter.

Bottom line....I'll be spending 20 more bucks for the same songs I bought NEW 6 months ago.
I could see being upset by this as reasonable.

CPT2 song specific scores are not on the leaderboards, but they do count in your total. I think.

I agree with this, as stated before. The Queen section of my library drives me bat-$#!^ crazy with all the clutter! Please, PLEASE give us a hide song option, or a lighter rating FILTER so we can customize our own "hiding". Deleting the songs stinks because it deletes them from RB2 and Lego RB too. Hiding or filtering is the best of both worlds.

I'm a big country fan, so it's great to see the genre getting more songs, but I'm a little surprised that Brad Paisley doesn't feature as I would consider him to be a far more popular artist than some of those listed and his pretty nifty guitar playing would be a pretty good fit for the game. Is there any reason for this?

Got the track pack and exported it, but likely to get this.

    19 new keyboard songs!!

I enjoy country as a genre in the game anyway, so I don't mind upgrading.
4 singles - 2 I'll get (Queensryche and one Staind).
