Im sorry but I actually was looking forward to the last Download to be best one ever... And to end it with this lame ass song... Leaves a me shaking my head... Proud that the downloads lasted as long as it did, but disappointed with a one hit wonder being the last... mad:

Ill continue to play the game... but will always wish some bands were in the game. U2, the Eagles, Pink FLoyd, to name a few... Of all the songs??? American Pie... SMH... Not much of a encore... well at least for me...

Why would they spend money on a huge band to turn around and release it at the very end?

American Pie may not be "epic" but it fits well thematically and is a good song.

I am personally happy with the choice, it may not be a major band type song but its a song about the death of music. In this case we are celebrating sadly the death of Rock Band.

It's an iconic song with thematically fitting lyrics, over 8 minutes long, relatively active on all instruments... seems like a good fit to me.

I would have liked something like "Octavarium" by Dream Theater, but this song is still a fitting closing, even if it isn't necessarily my cup of tea. The lyrics fit creepily well, it's lengthy and fully involved on all instruments, and most importantly is very well known.

i agree, this song is horrible, i won't download even if it is for free, but i agree with "Lawdog1521", why spend money in the end, i think they will save it for the next game or new project

but the last song had to be a "rock" song to honor the name "rock band"

"american pie" is a sad song, depressive, no rock band in the world close their concerts with sad songs, they use their best song
