    My first live concert

I know that is not the right place to post it, but I have to thank HMX because they introduced the Pearl Jam band to me, and yesteryear I was in their live show, here in Brazil!

It was just awesome! I'm speechless, in fact

But why bothering posting it here? Well, I was checking the light effects during the show and compared with the models we have in RB, and it was pretty similar (mainly the ones related to drums beats). In RB, I just miss the light effects specific for the crowd watching the concert.

Hmm.. Just to make it clear:

    Pearl Jam is awesome!
    Rock Band is awesome!

Now I'll go buy Backspacer album and Brother single!

    Regards

Very cool. I had a similar feeling when I went to Lollapalooza this year and saw the Foo Fighters for the first time. If I didn't have to work the next day I probably would have went home played through The Colour and The Shape that night.
    Pi-curious and proud!

A few weeks ago I saw Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance; it was a good show. Had a big electronic screen for images. It'd be cool if they could incorporate that into rockband somehow, for different bands and such. Also saw the Flaming Lips recently. It was in a small club-like venue called the NorVa. They had lighting, which would change every few seconds or so.

I'm planning on Roger Waters to be my first concert... It'll be intense. He's coming out to Denver in May to play the Wall, pretty pumped.

First concert for me was Waylon Jennings back in 1995... most recent was Earth back in June. Next one? I have no clue. Nothing looks like it's coming locally, so I may just wait to see what plays in the area (although I know Roger Waters is coming to Grand Rapids to play The Wall, might try to catch that).
