This sounds awesome, I'll get this now.
This is strange...I'm all for this weeks DLC. But I checked this morning at about 4am and there was a 3 completely different songs listed for DLC for Tuesdayon there. One was some Paramore song, then 18 to Life by Skid Row...then one other. I'm not really sure how Wikipedia works but I'm pretty sure someone may have just made up the list.
Wow this is a really diverse pack. One thing I've got from downloading all the DLC is a healthy dose of a wide variety of music and my musical taste has been broadened and made better by it. It would be cool to get all the stuff that you want and that would be fun, but there's also a lot to be said for getting to learn stuff you maybe never would have stepped out of your comfort zone to listen to and that's one of the things I've loved about the game and the DLC.
Anyways, that little vocal ditty part in the Monkees song sounds like it might take some practice, so I'm gonna get to listening to that. Thanks HMX for the consistent DLC releases!

Last couple weeks have been REALLY random as far musical genres go. Very eclectic. Got everything last week. This week, Monkees for sure, Sweet I'll have to listen to first, Blink...uh...no thanks.
I first heard of The Monkees in 1981, when I was 10. They disbanded before I was born but yet I heard of them at a very young age.
Even the 17 year olds on this forum should have at least heard of "Last Train to Clarksville" by now unless you are actually surprised that there was music before 1990.
Take the padlock off that brain, son, and let some culture in!
I've updated my DLC preview page with this week's tracks:

Cool... I'm looking forward to The Monkees. The other two (Sweet & Blink 182) I'm not thrilled about.

Does anybody else think the DLC should also be applied to you overall single player score? I think it would not only be a smart business decision on their part (to get more people to buy more songs to raise their overall score), but would get me to play the DLC more often when I'm on my own (as I typically try to raise my score when I'm playing by myself.) Anyways...just a thought...
that blink song is a classic. not classic like, other songs, this one ain:t quite as legendary, but a big song in my early years.
and the monkees? good lord.
