Funnily enough everytime one of my buddies tries vocalsn they have trouble choosing a song so I always say, well Say it Ain't So is pretty easy and they say "Oh I know that one," and start singing "Say it ain't so, I will not go..." So at least now I'll be able to say, well that's not actually that song, but funnily enough...

Thank you so much for the Blink! I would have preferred a few different songs over "All the Small Things" ("The Rock Show"... or pretty much anything off of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket), but any of their songs is a step in the right direction!

Different strokes for different folks. In my oppinion the Sweets song would be considered the "Fun" song of the week. IT sounds like it would be fun to play on Guitar.

To me song of the week is Last Train to Clarksville. I can't believe they are putting Monkees out. We really need more of this!

I'm glad there's some Blink 182 so everyone will stop asking for it. Though, I wish they would have picked one of the older faster Blink songs than this cheesy one.

Never thought I'd see a Monkees song on here! I'm really curious to see how this turns out. Wish it was a master though.

Wow, the Monkees were quite the surprise. One of their best tunes too!

Mega kudos to HMX for keeping this game so diverse, and by way of that for introducing people to music that they've likely never heard before. This works both ways, in exposing the older "classic rock" crowd like me to newer music, and vice versa for my younger son of 15. To me, that's the very best feature of the game. Keep it up!

As for those who are under the (incorrect) assumption that the Monkees never played their own instruments, here's a bit of research material to get you started:

Don't worry, it's the only one of the three I'll get.

    This Is Spinal Tap

lol, YES!!! I just checked out this band Sweet on youtube since I had never seen them before.....now I know where Spinal Tap got their influence from. That is without a doubt David and Nigel. If that bassist only had black hair and a thick mustache they would be dead on...

As for DLC song selection overall this week, not the greatest, but HMX is never going to please everyone and I'll deal with it. Keep the variety up though as far as when the songs were released. If you're only going to do 3 each week, do one from the 60's-70's, one from 80's-mid 90's, and one from mid 90's - current.
