Thumbs down Is There Any Way to Get the RB 2 DLC 20 Pack for a Used Copy AT ALL?!?!

ok, here is my grievance/sob story:

so i just bought a ps3 a few months back, and a few days ago i got rb 2. well yesterday, i bought rb 3. the problem is that most stores do not sell rb 2 NEW anymore, so i settle for rb 2 used. i bought rock band 3 new.

    anyway....
i can't get the 20 free songs because the code on the back has already been used. i looked up online how to do it and they say they can't help out because it is used.

so how unfair is that, EA? i mean, i love the rock band series, and i understand you're a business, but come on! i had both games for the wii back when i played it, and the 20 free songs are among the best of rb 2. is there anyway to bypass that? i paid with my hard earned money for both games, and i feel it's a little unfair that you just HAVE to have a new copy?

anyone, is there ANY WAY TO GET THE 20 SONGS WITH A USED COPY? does anybody have a unused registration key?

    help would be appreciated

    ??????

Yeah you can get them from a used copy, that is if the person that sold the copy didn't use the code.

Try for a new copy on Amazon and you can use the code for the 20 songs, and to export RB2 into RB3
    It's spelled "More".

Yeah, totally unfair for a company to incentivize buying a product in such a way that they still get a cut, over them getting nothing. Those bastards!

$15 on PS3, $20 on Xbox on Amazon right now. Wii's a bit spendier, $29, but did they even get the free-20?

I think they can now DL it from the store for free...or so I heard from one Wii playing guy.

But that's probably untrue, as we know how Ninty is with free DLC.

The Wii was always able to get the 20 pack DLC for free, no code needed.

Aha. So that was before "free=evil" became Nintendo's policy.

Oui, we also got Still Alive before that but that was technically the last free songs we saw. (Though we did get the 3 The Doors songs for free the first week RB3 was out.0

That person did you a favor, so I don't see the connection.
