I beg to differ, RB3 resents me in a big way. So there's no desired relationship to be had since we just don't get along. But the old friends are reliable, and new friends are welcome (as long as they'ree not friends with RB3, then I might have a problem )

I got all I needed from the RB games if I never play again. My avatars get more use outside the game then they ever could in. So I'm thankful to them for doing more inspiration (seriously funny stuff at times) than I thought possible.

Life goes on, I draw, I game, I hang with friends, I get excited to use a slow cooker (yeah new food bring happy). Oh the horror

I still think RB3 is better in every way than RB2. People always complain about online but I've never had any problems but I only play with people I or other people I know know. Complaints about the tour mode are absurd because there are like 12 different tours in RB3 what are different every time you play them. It's RB2+ in every way.
Faith No More is a perfect fit for Rock Band 3 dlc

Its RB2 without all the freedom of RB2...

There are no 'tours' in RB3, just short lived arcade challenges done in two days, then off to Quick Play for the rest of the entire game. How is that better than long term play with rewards, constant new challenges created by HMX daily/weekly that utilized DLC AND rewarded you for playing them, along with the Quick Play option, a stronger online if one doesn't just stick to friend lists and the ability to have more freedom in playing in bands that weren't yours (RB3 got rid of the need for a band and you are 100% locked to your own solo profile)?

I like the illusion of doing more than QP, RB3 doesn't offer that.

I've been playing since GH1, and since I started playing RB, I think I've only had one major point where I quit (I think for like a month when I had no guitar). Besides that, it all depends on how busy I am. Since Skyward Sword and Skyrim have come out, and with school, I only get about an hour every other day to play. Other times, I can play for up to 6 hours.

Sometimes. I wish all the songs of RB3 worked with RB2.. but at the same time I love keys.

I'm at college and without my xbox............... haven't played in over a month.

It's slowly killing me. Winter break can't come soon enough

Here's where the peanut gallery would go "Goals are better than a tour because they get you playing all the instruments". It only punishes those who are not Dave Grohl, and probably would punish him too because while he could probably get all the drum goals, I doubt he would be able to get some of the loftier Pro G/B/K goals.

Kinda this. More precisely, I hate alt-charting unless there was no guitar in the first place and they want to chart a second keys part.

If RB3 songs were playable in RB2 (basic modes only), then I wouldn't be asking for an RB4 because RB2 would last me longer.
We've ended on a sour note:

    Still...thank you for the music

Well, as I mentioned before, I am a social gamer. I never really liked to play RB solo, it was always about getting together with friends and playing. No one seems interested anymore.

Heck, just last week Alesia and I met some friends at Chili's for dinner and a few drinks. We invited them over to play Rock Band... The four of them came over to the house, I passed out the list of songs so everyone could look them over... put batteries in all the instruments... There was talk about the number of songs I own and even, "You got Lady Gaga songs?!"...

...no one wanted to play. Didn't even bother turning on the 360 because they decided they wanted to build a fire and sit around it outside...

People just don't seem interested anymore in playing. I still keep up with RB and I still buy an occasional song (To thank HMX for the Country Pack code I got the Yes pack, Me and Bobby McGee, Barracuda, Rock the Casbah, Take on Me, Stevie Wonder Pack… Oh, and I bought the Chili Pepper’s pack to thank HMX for bringing Dani Calf back to life) but I just don’t seem to get to play anymore. I am not sure continuing to purchase DLC is reasonable for me either, that was almost $40 in DLC and I have not played song one.

I was a Rock Band addict, but it has been 45 days since my last fix. I know I should be doing better than I am now, but I just can’t seem to control it.

I still have hope that RB will get played some this winter. But, until then, I am catching up with some old games I skipped because of Rock Band… Fallout 3 I am playing now.
Pushing 50 and still rockin' like a teen, only now I can afford it and it takes longer to recover.
