I'm actually trying to START playing but I'm stuck. I, yes really, recently bought a PS3 and a Mustang Pro guitar and I'm trying to use it with Beatles Rock Band and it isn't see it as a guitar and keeps demanding a microphone. I happen to have a usb mic so I plugged it in and it works but I don't want to sing (and nobody wants to listen to me), I want to play guitar. So far I'm not finding any help anywhere I look.

Note: I sync the Mustang Pro guitar to the PS3 THEN put in the Beatles Rock Band and it started and I only used the controls on the guitar. It isn't seeing it as a guitar and keeps demanding a microphone. I've tried changing controller numbers. I've powered it off and back on. I've done all the updates for the system before I powered it off and I've rebooted four or five times now. Still won't see it as a guitar. I'm getting ready to send the guitar back to Amazon. Madcatz says to contact them first. It's been three days since I emailed them, since I couldn't find any help that helped me, and I haven't heard anything. I'm not surprised because it is October of 2012. Can anyone help me?

Unfortunately, I don't think the Mustang is compatible with Beatles Rock Band. You need to get one of the regular 5-button guitars, of either the Rock Band or Guitar Hero variety.
