Of course, from my point of view, that was a great game. Great goaltending, contributions across the board, and good even-strength play (instead of living and dying by the PP).

Saw Nabby made 10 saves on the kill alone, awesome job by him and your Pk'ers.

Both the penalty kill and the power play have been very good for the Isles this year (ranked #7 and #4 in the league, respectively). It's even-strength play that has been weak.

Well, I was getting ready to move on from Ryan O'Reilly but now he will be an Avalanche for at least another year. We would have gotten a sweet haul from the Flames have we not matched...

I wonder how long the Blackhawks points streak is going to keep up?

I'm not sure, but it's been a heck of a ride so far. I imagine sometime soon at least Emery and Crawford will come back down to earth. But this team is deep, real deep. It looks to be a promising post-season, barring injuries of course.

I'm really hoping they break the Flyers' streak.

Unreal hockey out on the Island right now. This is the best I've seen the Islanders play in probably 10 years. All of this team's weaknesses earlier in the season (secondary scoring, defense, closing out games) have become strengths. The game on Saturday is crucial.

So basically since Osgood was their goalie?
