I'm hoping for the Kings and Rangers to play each other in the finals. I want the Kings to win, but I wouldn't mind the Rangers winning, either. I'm just glad the Preds are out. Phoenix has done thier job; they can be eliminated now

now they just need to beat the Kings

I am hoping for a Coyotes vs Devils Stanly Cup
    I hope so too.

also it looks like San Jose Sharks owner guy wants to buy the Coyotes and keep them in Arizona
But how will the NHL allow a guy to own two hockey teams at the same time?

In all seriousness though, hopefully this guy is a man of integrity and doesn't pull a Clay Bennett once he gets the team.

Well, the Flyers are gone. Now I'd still prefer to see the Capitals knock out the Rangers in this round and then get throttled by the Devils in the Conference Finals. I guess, at this point, the Coyotes are the least annoying team, so I'd prefer that they win the Cup.

Seems like the city of Glendale is heavily subsidizing the team to keep them there, from what I've been hearing. It wouldn't make too much financial sense to move the team from that situation.

actually Glendale is the main reason why there is a big chance of them moving... a few years back Glendale city council had Tea Party people take control who thought that NHL is not worth paying for... and the new mayor actually is trying to get all the money back from the NHL that they paid...

there was also some other issues... I was told by my brother that the Totomathm nation(no idea how it is spelled but it is a native American tribe) offered to pay all the money that Glendale pays but Glendale refused because the tribe was building a casino resort nearby and Glendale hated that (I think they tried taking them to the Supreme Court)

I know there is a lot of petty politics in Glendale over them

Based on that, it sounds like a Clay Bennett-esque owner would be able to get the city council in Glendale to help load the moving trucks. Never understood why they built an arena in Glendale to house that team when America West Arena (or whatever it's called now) was built in the 1990's in Downtown Phoenix and could house Pro Hockey just fine. Attendance issues weren't a probem of epic proportions for the Coyotes until they moved to Glendale.

I've been keeping track of the scores intermittently. It's always an interesting series, though.

Yeah, pretty much the same for me. I've been following what the U.S is doing and then have been following what the other 3 players from the Avalanche have been doing.

    Paul Stastny - USA
    Ryan O'Reilly - Canada
    Semyon Varlamov - Russia
    Gabriel Landeskog - Sweden
