I'd been thinking of making one of these, so here it is. I know there have been some in the past, but maybe this one will be a bit more permanent.

In any case, let the discussion begin. As an Islanders fan, this season has been, as usual, painful, but the last six games have been really good.

Red Wings fan here. Not a bad season so far for me.

Canucks fan here. Still annoyed by their pathetic play in last year's Stanley Cup. Hopeful that they win it all this year.

What does everyone think of the new alignment scheme? I've heard a lot of people (mostly Rangers fans, but what else is new) *****ing about it, but I don't mind it. I guess it makes Conference D the toughest conference, but it's not like the Atlantic Division wasn't already one of the tougher divisions in the league.

It's better than Detroit is West but Winnipeg is East.

Well, yeah, I would have preferred to just see them switch Winnipeg to the West and move, say, Nashville to the East.

I'm a fan of the new alignment, not just because the Wings and ****hawks got to stay in the same conference (division? I don't even know anymore) but because of he emphasis put on more games within said division. Plus, we got the Stars in our division, and I ****ing hate Dallas sports teams. Especially the Stars.

Not the game tonight. The first period and a half were solid enough, though some glaring mistakes kept the Penguins in the game at that point. Then the refs don't pay attention when making a call and overreact. One of our defensemen gets a game misconduct, and all the momentum shifts to the Penguins.
