I didn't know about Mitch Mitchell before playing Hendrix in Rock Band. Now, I can't wait to get my hands on more Hendrix, not just because the songs are great, but because Mitchell is amazing and incredibly fun to play.
RBN Purchases: Angel Lust, Bodies, Juke Joint Jezebel, Push Push (Lady Lightning), Rx, Tongue Twister Typo.

Heck yeah, more Hendrix!!! Definitely getting several of these, maybe the whole pack!

I am also picking up the Jerry Naylor tracks on RBN. EVERYONE should check these out, they're songs from an era of rock and roll that should be appreciated by all. Very happy to see more Rockabilly tracks getting added, and I hope there's even more to come from this genre.

Hopefully the team that did Are You Experienced charted this and not the team that did Axis...

Still, cannot wait to buy All Along The Watchtower.

You should be asking "What part of best guitar player of all time do you not agree with"

because the answer would be "I disagree with the 'best' part"

    (and arguably, the 'player' part)

I think the decision to name him best guitar player of all time wasn't... a good one. Maybe most influential guitar player of all time, I could agree with that, but best?
    meh

Could not be any different. I don't think there's a big artist that is less rhythm game-friendly than Jimi Hendrix. It's music meant to be played and enjoyed, not necessarily to be replicated note by note, on any instrument. It's very istinctive, very interpretative (hope it's the right word in English), not really fitting for rhythm games. With that said, very happy for the people who enjoy playing this in the game though. Personally I was also a bit let down by the fact that the only song I was looking forward to is actually live.

AWESOME !!!- 4 weeks in a row with classic rock (Starship/Queen/Rush/Hendrix) and 5 of the past 6 weeks of GOOD DLC available. Making up for that terrible 2 month run that was going prior to that. Keep 'em coming Harmonix!!!
    Future DLC Suggestions:

    Styx
    Sammy Hagar
    ZZ Top
Van Halen - anything but VH III songs!
Bob Seger - Live Bullet (full album)
    Ringo Starr

That's a very intelligent, in my opinion, observation I've always agreed on. Incredibly influential, there's no denying that. But I think the best guitar players came a few years later.

Huh? It is live, so I will HAVE to listen to the version to see if I like it, but that song is EPIC. I'm pretty excited to try to keep up with Mitch Mitchell.

It's spelled "Squier." Stop spelling it like someone who is in training to be a knight.

I'm going to save this for a rainy day pack. For now I think I'll keep busy with the new Queen and Rush songs.
