I guess if this gets touched on this year (or on the chance it remains vague, then nevermind) is the 'new direction' based on all the games as a whole in the band concept, or just a different swing from where RB3 tried to go? This meaning some thinking it's going to continue down the path of ditching the 'band' and video game futher to be a tutor. Could your new direction be as simple as going more towards the games side again? That'd be considered 'different' in my book.

I chime in a lot since I miss my RB and hope the next experience is something that'll get my attention again.

Last Question: How has “pro guitar” been received? Do you look at RockSmith, smack yourselves on the forehead, and say “duh” or are you happy with the approach you took? Personally, I like how Harmonix found a way to keep track of finger placement in a “real guitar” even if that guitar is no longer being produced and has a bad reputation as a “real guitar”.
I'd put these questions together, and ask if Pro Guitar had a part in getting artists to say yes.

I get the feeling that some aspects of RB3 are that way because they didn't have time to do what they really wanted. Maybe the "new" direction is doing it the way they wanted to the first time? It'd be new to all of us outside of Harmonix.

I'd feel lousy after accepting any more free DLC, having won the recent giveaway.

Q: Do you plan on adding a second guitar track for bands that play two guitars in there songs whitch inturn would make it possable for 8 people to play at once?

in adding to the question above

Q: Do you plan to make it possible on songs that use tripple harominies to be played acrocss three diffrent gamer tags for online play or system link?

    and with that in mind

Q: Do you plan to make it possable for a full band (7 or 8 diffrent gamer tags) to play on line across the internet or system link?

    one last question please

Q: when are you going to make Journey and Scorpions packs available and perferabley there 6 top songs for each?
    thank you

Have said no before. 'Guitar' in the game now is already rhythm and lead mixed, nor is rhythm that much more exciting than bass for those who want it so they don't have to pick bass.

Have said no before. Latency and all.

Rock Band 3 can't handle it, future Rock Band title isn't far enough along to say, I bet.

They can't comment on upcoming DLC without clearing it with the labels. You are not the first person to ask when bands you like are coming.

PS3 DLC giveaways?!?!? YAY, another opportunity to extend my streak of never having won anything! Maybe I'll switch to Xbox so GNF can give me his if he already has what he's going to win.

Good for you guys doing a charity fundraiser, all seriousness. I'd love to donate, but I can just barely afford to keep a roof over my head right now. When I find a new job (....if I find a new job) I'll look into this organization

I'm not sure why it would have. Nobody just has Pro Guitar on their songs, and nobody besides Def Leppard has Pro Guitar on all their songs. So maybe Def Leppard.

If it's not a quickdraw giveaway, I totally will.

HMX supporting fans AND charity!? Wow HMX very nice and keep up the good work!!

QUESTION: When you released the original ROCK BAND, did you ever think you would have amassed such a great amount of DLC over the years and have a huge community of thousands of people posting DAILY wether it be a forum or announcement or requesting a song? The original ROCK BAND revolutionized the music-rythym game industry and set a new standard, and how do you feel seeing all these people supporting the ROCK BAND series and responding so positively to the DLC you have released so FAR, while anxiously anticipating the FUTURE DLC ?
