Hey, at the top of this app, one of the features listed is:

"Compare DLC libraries to find people to play with!"

But I can't figure out how to do that. But it would be awesome if you could actually do that. Also, If you could use this app to track:

• Songs you own ("My Songs")
• Songs you're thinking about buying ("Wishlist")

it would be incredibly phenomenally useful.

EDIT: I think the Rock Band Dashboard may be broken for me. When I click on "Players", my whole browser window goes blank and then the app starts over at the beginning (with the same screen that I see when I click on "Your Dashboard"). If that's how you're supposed to compare DLC libraries, it's no wonder I haven't found that feature yet :-)

Mine does that since I verified my info, I'm pretty sure regardless of the browser. Now it's broken even when I unverified the browser info. What use it had for me is gone at the moment.

It was clearly some sort of error, I do not need to play more. Seriously, no, I play too much, especially lately! It said I had played ZERO songs. But it's back up now, still with the same Best Song Performance [i.e., not one I agree with, they should change the formula]. The friends link no longer pops me back to the front dashboard page anymore, though I still have no suggested friends (which is probably accurate, the few friends I know that own Rock Band 3 refuse to install the Dashboard because they are concerned with FB privacy issues). I had to re-enter their console names again, I've done that before but every week or so they disappear (whenever the dashboard is updated?).

So it's just a survey tool for them now, not a game? But there's been no official announcement to this effect, right? Well, OK. Wherever it was they used to say that you would get 10 points for guessing right, is that post now gone?

I guess it's still a game for some, as there seems to be a lot of changes every time I look at the most suggested bands of the week. What do you win? Well, sometimes one of your artists is added to the DLC for the week, and you win the opportunity to buy a new track from a band that you requested!

Yeah, they stopped at least by CCR, but they said they might randomly do them again. Just not weekly.

Yes, technically it was never advertised as a game. I was just noting that by offering an extra 5 points for correct guesses, the incentive structure changed, and game theory would predict that people would change how they made their lists. And that's probably not what they intended to happen, and so that feature went away.

Just a guess.

Instead of listing the 10 artists I want the most, my list is now more like "my 3 favorite artists + my 7 favorite artists among those already in the top 100". Will my vote tip the scales and convince HMX to sign up an artist they were considering any way? Probably not! Do I expect to get anything for guessing correctly? Well, maybe I'll get a brief thrill some Friday when I see one of "my" artists listed in the announcement, that would be fun.
