3 millions likes? How is this possible, when it looks like only about 5,000 people a week are buying and playing new DLC? Do they like Rock Band without ever playing it, or do they never connect to the internet, or do they just never buy new DLC?
I'm guessing it's mostly the latter? Obviously they can't buy anything if they aren't on the internet in the first place.
I'll be really interested to see how many DLC sales are made in the weeks after RB:B comes out. If only 15% of those 3 million fans buy it [surely a vast over-estimate, but then why would these people consider themselves "fans"?], and if 5% of the people that buy RB:B are inspired to buy new tracks for the first time in forever, that would mean weekly sales would increase 5-fold. Honestly, I wouldn't be stunned if DLC sales didn't at least triple from current levels, at least in the short run, and that would solidify the elite reputation of Harmonix strategists.
