Well since the Rush was released technically last year that means we can get more of them this year.

My most wanted bands for sometime this year are Supertramp, Deep Purple, and ELP. Can you guess which instrument I play?

Really? You apply the 'once a year' rule to the band that was released twice in the same month? Seems kinda pointless.

Hey I'm just following the rules that others have put out. If Rush was released last year then they seem to be popular enough and easy enough to license to get them again this year.

Rush's problems regarding releases is that it's becoming hard to release popular songs by them that aren't already on the platform. Not that RB3 versions of some songs would be a bad thing, but that's what you'd have to start looking at.

Yeah, the current DLC model that HMX has adopted has me a little disappointed. One of the things I loved about Rock Band over Guitar Hero was that HMX picked a mix of hits and deep cuts to release.

While I fully understand the reasons why they've changed this philosophy and moved on to getting more hits, it doesn't bode well for fans of bands that already have all the hits on the game but hardly any of the fan favorite songs.

For example, take a band like Rush (since they've been the topic of discussion). While they don't have much in the way of hits left for HMX to add to the game, there is still a full catalog of deep cuts/fan favorite songs to pick from.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

Seriously? Your disappointed with the amount of Rush songs in the game? I mean they have what, 2 full albums and some singles? If another Rush song never makes the light of day I think we can all agree they are pretty well represented in the game at this point...

He never said the word disappointed? He said there's deep cuts that fans enjoy left to pick. Which is painfully true for nearly every band on the platform.

One full album and some singles. 2112 had a whole other side we don't have.

With the utmost confidence, I'm gonna say drums. The past DP songs we had were fan freakin tastic on drums, some of my favorites. Although it could really be any instrument. ELP and Supertramp would also be fantastic!

Wrong. Actually it's keys hence the supertramp and ELP with Emerson.
