Yeah I figured I would wait for somebody else to push him down. Who better than GNF himself?

I'm all for wanting more artists, but at some point, you have to accept their reasons, rather than endlessly fight them. Does it suck they're borderline 'never gonna happen'? Yeah. Is pointing out to other non-noteworthy-in-the-process people that they would sell gonna act as the tipping point where they smack their heads and go, "Oh, we could get MONEY?" Obviously not.

It's great that you want an artist you like, but reminding an audience of 99% fans that you want them in every post isn't gonna do anything for anyone.

To be fair though, Jack White also said that he doesn't like music games for the same reason and he has 13 songs in RB and a hand full in GH and 2 on disc in RS.

So he's a hypocrite. As much as I want Zeppelin in the game. I hope they don't decide to just sell out for the money at some point.

Well, Jack White isn't quite up to snuff with the ones we're discussing. Also, I'd wager since he's a more modern act, the label has more control of his material than say, Led Zeppelin.

He owns all of his own stuff and has his own label, Third Man.

But I don't see Zep ever happening. Unless the game is still around by the time they become public domain. Here's hoping.

Isn't public domain like 100 years? Yeah I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Actually, there was a recent ruling by the Supreme Court where public domain stuff could be reclaimed.
