but at some point, you have to accept their reasons, rather than endlessly fight them.

Sometimes you just have to be grateful for the bands you like that have songs in Rock Band.
For example I could be constantly b****ing about Muse having only one song, but my favorite band got their own game and their are several others I like that are well represented.

You are right that the article posted said that.....but there is also a big difference from them saying that when GH Aerosmith came out as opposed to them sayin No after seeing the direction RB3 has taken.
Pro GnB, Keys, and harmonies, and also the dashboard app, is something that Harmonix can use as firepower to try and show these bands that having them in the game is not just "about the money" and that RB is the ultimate(fun and educational) music experience.

If it means anything, nobody compares to Jimi Hendrix...and I love, and am thankful, that he is represented extremely well in RB

Rock Band 3 stopped requiring master tapes? Because the same article says Page doesn't want to let others touch the master tapes.
