I picked "I want more points but I don't know how / when I want them" because I can't figure out anything that makes sense for everyone. I think if I had to pick one of the ideas in the poll it would be the current front-runner, "It would be more fair if everyone got more points on a regular basis (weekly/monthly, etc). "

I think hmxhenry said somewhere that they would want to reward points for being a good/positive community member. I think that's a great way to look at it, but I can't figure out how to judge it.

Edit: though if the Portillo's-related PM I just sent him doesn't get me more points, I dunno what will....

I think 10 for everyone is a fine system. If random people were somehow allowed to have more points than everyone else, they could easily just skew it in favor of their favorite band(s).

Can't we have unlimited points and instead 'like' a song. However you can only add one 'like' to a song.

As it stands I've just assigned 10 points to popular bands (Which are already at the top) because the bands I really like are unlikely to ever make a break into the top stuff.

Plus I like and buy a lot of MP3s/CDs/Vinyls/DLC and 10 points doesn't go very far for someone with a wide variety of favourite bands.

Can you adjust it so we can select multiple things? I think the guessing points are a fun reward, but I also think regular additions would encourage repeated use, rather than 'set your 10, leave, come back if 1 ever gets released and you remember it'.

I agree with GNF. I feel that more points every week or month on a set schedule (like the DLC releases) would encourage people to keep coming back.

Just like the weekly DLC, a set schedule to get more points to vote with would keep people interested (and not forgetting about it)

I think a vote for certain genres or decades could also be something people might want to throw a couple of points at.
I think community members could have the option to vote for forum members based on cred/popularity to give them extra votes.

As do my friend, I'd love for Supertramp to be in Rock Band and It seems like forever since we got that Killers Pack 01, we need more.
