Drum tuning help

Hey everyone, have question regarding drum tuning. I have a Pearl Soundcheck Fusion kit, with a 10, 12 and 16 inch toms and a 14 inch snare. Should the snare be the highest pitch drum? The way I have it set up now is the 10 inch tom is higher than the 14 inch snare, which is higher than the 12 inch tom, which is higher than the 16 inch tom. Is this the right way, or is it just anyway at all?

This site has a good graphic of the relationship between the different drum tunings. The snare is usually tuned higher than a 10" tom, but there is no "law" saying you must do it that way
