    2) Anonymous would not waste their times on the Rock Band forums, especially because of a post like this.
    3) You obviously know nothing about Anonymous.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure none of you know how Anonymous really works.
Still doesn't justify what they did to the PSN, or what they're threatening to do now. It'd be like someone poisoning the food in a small country, leaving thousands to starve, just so they can kill off one terrorist via food poisoning. They still affected the lives of all those other people in their stupid attempt at doing what's "right."

I do not support SOPA. Hell, I wish it gets shot down and buried. But I also think Anonymous is a bunch of nerdy a**holes who need to either get busted already or do something worthwhile in their sad, pathetic lives (preferably both, actually).

Um, no......being unable to play your video games online isn't actually like starving to death at all.

But I agree with you full that Anon are a-holes.

Aaaaaand you do realize you were responding to someone from whom all posts are in character, right?

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure you don't know how Hogan2000 really works.

    And furthermore

Bull****. Flat out, stinking, festering bull****. Piracy =/= freedom of speech. Jailbreaking the PS3 =/= freedom of speech. Et cetera.

Yes, but using your credit card, leaving you in debt, is still a pretty bad offense.

Plus, I was comparing the stupidity, not the extremity.

If they really did care about what they did and how they did it, they'd do it openly, not hidden.

    I'M NOT JUSTIFYING IT!

    HOLY CRAP!

I'M NOT JUSTIFYING IT! I DO NOT AGREE WITH IT. HOW DAFT DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

    GAHH!!H!HHH

    okay, let me say this

    ONE

    MORE

    TIME

    1) I DO NOT AGREE WITH WHAT ANON IS DOING

    2) THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO STOP IT

    3) THERE IS A GOOD THAT CAN COME OUT OF IT, SO I'M HOPING THAT GOOD IS AS GREAT AS POSSIBLE TO OVERCOME THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF THE ATTACK ITSELF (FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE HEIGHTENED AWARENESS OF SOPA STOPS IT FROM PASSING, AT LEAST THE SILVER LINING WILL BE VERY BIG)

    Okay?

Look at every attack Anon has done, and you'll see the freedom of speech correlation.

They are attacking PSN because they support SOPA, a bill that will restrict our freedom of speech, freedom of internet, etc.

They did not attack the PSN last time over the jailbroken PS3, get your facts straight.

freedom of speech bruther? really. You can talk all you want bruther but when you actually hack into someone's network, that's taking it beyond freedom of speech bruther. Not only that, they stole a whole lotta credit cards bruther. You call that for the people dude? Plus they do this all hiding behind a computer pal. I don't care who they think they are bruther or who they stand for pal. All I know is they do a lot of damage to companies and the customers of the companies. They stand for nothing and everything they do is another step to show how stupid they really are bruther.

The attacks are based on freedom of speech, not the execution of what they inflict on their victims. (as in, they attack those who restrict freedom of speech by DDoS attacks and CC#'s being put out, of course the last half does not relate to freedom of speech, but their initial desires stems from it. As I have said before, I do not support Anon, but I am trying to get across their line of thinking for you (seemingly too-stupid-to-understand) people.

It's not like they're just blindly attacking, people. Go check their wiki page, look for a relationship between their attacks.

They stand for freedom of speech, in their eyes. And, frankly, they've been successful a number of times. As I mentioned before (but you failed to read, I guess), even though their methods of attack do not relate to freedom of speech, they base their attacks on it. I hope I don't have to explain this concept again. Go read my last post.

Not selfish, but they don't realize the consequences, don't care, or think they're justified.
