That website doesn't host any content, so it's probably exempt from such a law, but there are programs that can convert the audio from a Youtube video to MP3 (ie. JDownloader).

Habbo Raids; A bunch of kids dicking around, and bugging Habbo players.
    Not a free speech protest.

Neo Nazis; They brought a Neo-Nazi's website down.
Not a free speech protest. Actually the exact opposite, even if his views are idiotic.

The Pedophile Arrest; They brought a pedophile to justice.
Not a free speech protest, however it was a good samaritan act.

Scientology; Attacked a whole friggin religion because they thought it was weird and stupid, and some scam to take peoples money.
Not a free speech protest. Again, the EXACT opposite.

Epilepsy attack; They trolled the website for epilepsy awareness by posting animations that could have potentially caused seizures. They then blamed it on the Church of Scientology.
Not a free speech protest. They could have seriously injured somebody.

Hip Hop website; Defaced a website for hip hop support with derogatory pictures of african americans.
Not a free speech protest. They take their freedom of speech way too far.

No Cussing Club; Released the address and phone numbers of the people who operated the website.
It could be considered a free speech protest..... if it was backed by the government. So not a free speech protest.

Iran; Teamed up with the Pirate Bay to assist the rallies and protests of the rigged election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Their first TRUE free speech protest.

Australia; Attacked Aussie government websites because the country was blocking sites like 4chan and Encyclopedia Dramatica. Another free speech protest.

Australia, Pt 2; Because Australia bans nude images of small breasted women (because they could pass off as children, apparently), Anonymous again attacked government sites in retaliation. Somewhat of a free speech protest.

Tea Party; Attacked the Tea Party's website. Constricting another persons freedom of speech.

Payback; The mass attack of the sites that seized Wikileak's assets, and the infamous PSN attack because of the jailbreak. A freedom of speech protest. Smaller leaking operations commenced a little while after. A freedom of speech protest.

Those were the activities between 2007 and 2010.
They dick around and constrict other people's rights more than defending others.
Also, because of what they did, Sony made it IMPOSSIBLE to perform a class-action lawsuit if something like that happens again. That isn't "good" change to me.

This is reasonable, though this is far from a complete list, as you left out everything that -does- relate to free speech.

That post did attribute some of their actions to freedom of speech. Feel free to fill in the blanks you think it's so incomplete.

I just remember looking at the list of their attacks on the Wikipedia page about them, and I don't really feel like making a list that already exists.

The only reason why I left them out is because they're still ongoing, and still relevant news.

The point I was trying to make was that they aren't so noble, and only just very recently began defending free speech. Plus, all current protests are under OWS, and as such, don't really need to be listed here as it is common knowledge at this point.

Oh no, they certainly aren't noble.
